I received your esteemed report Number 250/39 of 10.07.1939 with which you inform me of the suspension of the use of the German language in the religious functions in the Diocese of Katowice. (1)

I thank you for the kind communication.

You will understand the necessity of recommending ever more peace and tranquillity of mind to the clergy above all to avoid an increase of the present tension.
